• To facilitate collaboration on communication between FM bodies

• To increase the positive profile of FM with government, the media and the business community

• To encourage the commercial viability of FM contracts

• To promote FM as a career of choice

• To promote FM best practice to the business community

• To highlight the risks of inadequate FM.

Issues that Action FM will focus its efforts on initially include:

• Sustainability, energy management and waste

• FM as a career including employment conditions in the sector, training and development

• Risk, compliance, standards and quality.
